"U-meter 500" is a mechanical disposable diuresis monitoring device designed to collect, sample and measure urine volume (diuresis) in critical patients over time. The device consists of a urine collection bag directly attached to a measuring device providing a closed collection system. "U-meter 500" is attached to a Foley catheter (bladder), urine flows through the catheter into the chamber.
Distinctive features:
- Transparent measuring chamber with a capacity of 500 ml, graduated from 5 ml.
- In the center of the chamber is a measuring cylinder with a capacity of up to 40 ml with 3 holes on the front. Two openings for communication with the main measuring chamber and one overflow. A tap with open/closed position marking, is located above the measuring chamber, between the chamber and the drive tube.
- Drive tube: 110 cm long, with anti-break spiral nozzle at the point of attachment to the chamber to prevent kinking. Universal needle-free port is located at the distal end of the tube.
Clamp (cremaller clip) included.
- 2.0 liter urine collection bag with identification scale. It has a special hole for fixing the drain cock. The drain cock is cross-shaped, off-center, located on the lower edge of the urine collection bag.
- "U-meter 500" includes 1-2 pcs. non-return (check) valves. Located in the lid of the measuring chamber and at the entrance to the bag.
Hydrophobic antibacterial filter - 2 pcs.
- Two options of bed attachment: straps and hook.
