The Ulmer Drainage Catheter is used for postoperative wound drainage and is placed directly into the wound using a trocar or other instruments. It has graduated holes in diameter, which ensures uniform aspiration along the entire length of the perforated section of the tube and thus contributes to faster wound healing.
Due to careful treatment of the edges of the holes and uniform outflow of wound fluid reduces the likelihood of blockage of drainage, reduces tissue trauma during the subsequent removal of the drainage tube. Easily detected by X-rays. Available with a one-piece trocar atraumatically attached to the drainage catheter.
