Surgical drainage catheter Spiral

The Spiral Surgical Drainage Catheter is used for draining a postoperative wound, placed directly into the wound cavity with a trocar or other instruments that can be used for drainage.

The drainage has oval-shaped holes arranged along an imaginary spiral, which significantly reduces the risk of tissue sprouting through the holes when they are placed against each other. Due to careful treatment of the edges of the holes and uniform outflow of wound fluid, the likelihood of blockage of drainage is reduced and tissue trauma during the subsequent removal of the drainage tube is reduced. It has an atraumatic open end. With RKP and tube labelling. Lumen is not blocked when twisted.
